Scope and Content

This collection, donated to Kent State University by Gary Pemberton, consists of ten spiral-bound volumes of photocopies of records from the FBI related to its investigation of the Kent State Shootings. This material was requested in 2003 as a Freedom of Information Act request for records. Portions of some of the documents were still classified at the time of the request and are obscured on the photocopies.
