The archival records of the Catholic Diocese of Youngstown, Ohio, are deposited in Kent State University's Department of Special Collections and Archives. All records in this collection are restricted. Researchers must obtain permission from the Diocese of Youngstown Chancellor's Office before using any records in the collection. This collection is currently located at an off-site, climate-controlled storage facility. Once access permission is obtained from the Diocese, researchers must contact Special Collections and Archives at least 24 hours prior to coming to use the material.

Researchers must show Special Collections staff written documentation from the Diocese granting them permission to view the records.
