This collection contains records generated by the office of Sports Information (now named Athletic Communications) at Kent State University. Included are sports films, media guides and programs, files on individual athletes and former Intercollegiate Athletics personnel, and team files for each sport. There is also a collection of sports memorabilia (artifacts).
Materials in this collection have been divided
into three major divisions which are listed below. Records date from 1925 through the present,
with the bulk of the files dating from 1970-1991. Files will be
added to the collection on an ongoing basis.
